Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery of a man in Sleaford on Sunday night.

According to Sleaford police, a 67-year-old man was walking home down the pathway between Lincoln Road and Sycamore Drive at 11.50pm, when he was pushed to the floor by another man.

The attacker shouted at the victim to give him his money before running away.
