Drink driver was almost four-and-a-half times legal limit, court told

Prosecuting, Jim Clare said police were notified about the manner of the driving of a Volvo on the A16 on October 4 and intercepted the car on Boston Road, Sibsey, where they saw the car was swerving across the road and crossing the centre white line.

He said he gave a blood sample at the hospital which produced a reading of 291 micrograms of alcohol, the legal limit being 80.
Mr Clare said Siniavskij had a similar conviction for excess alcohol in 2017.
Mitigating, Phiippa Chatterton said Siniavskij had fully cooperated with the police and accepted it had been an act of stupidity on his part.
