Driving ban for fish and chip shop crash offender

The man who crashed into Eagles Fish and Chip Shop last night (Thursday) has been banned from driving for 18 months, according to police.

Boston Police (@bostonpoliceuk) tweeted to say: “Court have updated us, the Eagles crash driver has pleaded guilty & has been banned for 18 months with a Community Order #speedyjustice”

Raimonhas Gailrunas, 26, was this morning charged with driving a vehicle with alcohol above the limit, driving without due care and attention, failing to stop after a road accident and driving without insurance.

It has not been confirmed which if he pleaded guilty to all the charges or individual offences when he appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today.

Police hope to confirm this on Monday.
