Police in Gainsborough are warning residents to be vigilant following a spate of lead thefts.

Lincolnshire Police said incidents of lead being stolen from properties had increased in recent weeks.

Gainsborough PCSO Matthew Eglinton said: “Lead has been taken from both roofs and windows.

"Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity through 101.”
