Lincolnshire Court registers

Anthony Manson, 36, of Louisberg Road, Hemswell, has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to turn up for a hearing at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.

Manson had been due in the dock on January 14 - but he did not turn up for the hearing.

He is accused of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of a police investigation into whether or not he had committed an offence under the Road Traffic Act, the court was told.

It allegedly happened in Lincoln on September 15 last year.

Manson has not yet entered a plea.

The case has been adjourned.

Elliott Foxlow

Elliott Foxlow, 19, of Main Street, Thoresway, has pleaded guilty to an offence under the Road Traffic Offenders Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on January 18.

The court was told how Foxlow has admitted driving a Peugeot vehicle without due care and attention.

The incident happened in Sanders Road, at the junction with Marshall Way, in Gainsborough on June 6 last year.

The case has been adjourned until February 10.

Foxlow is due to be sentenced on this date, the court was told.

Steven Ellis

Steven Ellis, 24, of Sturton Villas, Scawby, has had a charge against him withdrawn, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court was told on January 20.

The court was told how Mr Ellis had been accused of failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend appointments for unpaid work on December 16 and 29 last year, and failing to provide evidence for a failure within a specified time.

This charge has now been withdrawn.

Mr Ellis had not entered a plea.

Jeffrey Boryszczuk

Jeffrey Boryszczuk, 45, of Snelland Road, Wickenby, has pleaded not guilty to a charge under the Vagrancy Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on January 
21.

The court was told how Boryszczuk is accused of begging in a public place - Bailgate, Lincoln - on November 16 last year.

Boryszczuk has been given unconditional bail until April 6 when he is due to stand trial.

The case has been adjourned.

David Cross

David Cross, 32, of St Hughs Street, Lincoln - previously of King Street, Market Rasen - has had two charges against him withdrawn, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on January 21.

The court was told how Mr Cross had been charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress at The Foyer in Market Rasen on November 
22.

It was alleged that this was racially aggravated.

He had also been charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress at The Foyer in Market Rasen on November 
22.

Both of these charges have now been withdrawn.

Mr Cross had not entered a plea for either charge, the court was told.

Trevor Reeve

Trevor Reeve, 71, of Spridlington Road, Faldingworth, has been sentenced for drink driving, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on January 
21.

The court was told how Reeve pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Mondeo when he was nearly double the legal limit.

A test showed Reeve had 68 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the court was told.

The incident happened in Spridlington Road, Market Rasen on November 22 last year.

Reeve has been banned from driving for 17 months and fined £120.

He has been ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service as well as a £20 victim surcharge, the court was told.

Peter Vernam

Peter Vernam, 30, of Lincoln Drive, Caistor, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to an affray charge and a drugs charge, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court was told on January 22.

The court was told how Verman admitted using or threatening unlawful 
violence towards other persons.

The court was told that his ‘conduct was such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his personal safety’.

This offence happened in Grimsby on December 19 last year.

He has been given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.

Vernam has also been ordered to carry out 160 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months, the court was told.

This will be supervised by a responsible officer.

Vernam was ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and an £80 victim surcharge, the court was told.

The court was also told how Verman admitted possession of a quantity of the class B drug cannabis.

This offence also happened in Grimsby on December 19.

Verman was given no separate penalty for this offence.
