Louth woman, 74, assaulted emergency worker on Christmas Eve

A Louth woman has been sentenced after pleading guilty to assaulting an ambulance technician and being drunk and disorderly in public on Christmas Eve.

Carol Cuthbert, 74, of Eastfield Road, pleaded guilty to both offences at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court on August 28.

Cuthbert was given a 12 month conditional discharge for both of the offences, and was ordered to pay £50 in court costs and £35 in compensation.

The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into account by the court when sentencing.
