A man accused of the murder of a 61-year-old neighbour was today (Monday) further remanded in custody following a hearing at Lincoln Crown Court.
Vidmantas Svedarauskas, 66, of Porcher Way, Boston, is accused of the murder of Manfred Jaedke between July 6 and 9.
Mr Jaedke, a German national who had lived in the UK for a number of years, was found dead at his home in Porcher Way.
Svedarauskas, who appeared by video link from custody, was assisted by a Lithuanian interpreter during this morning’s hearing.
No charge was put to him today and there was no application for bail.
Judge Michael Heath remanded him in custody to await a plea and trial preparation hearing on November 25. A provisional trial date has been set for December 12.
