A Latvian man who returned to the UK illegally has been arrested in Boston.

In 2013 Andrejs Gricans (27) was given a prison sentence following his conviction for conspiracy to commit burglary in relation to 60 offences throughout Lincolnshire, Norfolk and South Yorkshire.

Gricans was also made the subject of a 10-year Deportation order and, at the end of his sentence, he was removed from the UK by the Home Office and returned to his native Latvia.

During a recent policing operation, it was found that Gricans had returned to the UK illegally and on Friday 20th November, he was arrested at an address in Fydell Street, Boston.

He has been returned to prison for breach of his Deportation Order and will subsequently be removed from the UK.
