Man loses clothes in street robbery

TWO men stole clothes off a 20-year-old man in Boston after attempting to take gold rings from his fingers.

The victim, a Boston man, was approached from behind as he neared Boston Grammar Schools Federation, in Rowley Road, at about 1.30am on Sunday.

He was punched in the face and pushed into bushes.

The offenders demanded his gold rings, but were unsuccessful in taking them from his fingers and instead stole his blue T-shirt and blue jacket.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery.

The victim had left the Magnet Tavern, in South Square, and walked to Rowley Road via John Adams Way.

One of the offenders is described as a white, about 5ft 9ins tall, in his early 20s, of medium build, with black hair

He was wearing blue jeans and a cream-coloured hooded top with a distinctive red pattern.
