Lincolnshire Police and Crime Commissioner Alan Hardwick came to Boston today (Tuesday) to gauge public feeling following the launch of a murder investigation.
Sigitas Kirkickas, 53, was found dead at an address in Ingelow Avenue at teatime on Friday.
It’s one of seven serious and violent crimes investigated by police this year, most of which have happened behind closed doors and involved people who knew each other.
Police have stressed the incidents are ‘not random’ attacks and Boston remains a safe place to live.
Mr Hardwick told The Standard: “I don’t think Boston is a dangerous place to live and the indications I have had this morning are that the people of Boston agree with me.”
