Police search for man who absconded from open prison

POLICE are appealing for information about a Boston man who absconded from HMP North Sea Camp last month.

Callum Michael Baggaley, 23, who was coming to the end of a sentence for burglary, absconded from the open prison in Freiston Shore overnight between June 13-14.

A police spokesman said Baggaley’s family still live in the town and it is believed he is still in the area.

Det Insp Lorraine Bradley said: “We strongly believe that Callum Baggaley is still in Boston or the surrounding area and is possibly being harboured by friends or associates.

“In the long run, this is not helping Callum as the longer he remains at large, the worse it will be for him and those involved.

“I would urge him, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, to do the sensible thing and contact police without further delay”.

Baggaley is described as 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build, with shaven brown hair and blue eyes.

He has a tattoo on the back of his neck saying ‘skin up’.

Anyone with information should contact Lincolnshire Police by dialling 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
