Police have urged the public to ensure they properly secure their sheds and outbuildings after a suspicious incident in Eastville.

At around 6.30pm on Monday (September 16) a dark coloured hatchback was seen in the Station Road area of Eastville.

One person was seen to get out of the car and walk around two storage units before getting back into the car and speeding off from the location.

“This location was a dead end access only road, therefore they had no reason to be at the location,” said PCSO Nigel Miller of the Spilsby Neighbourhood Policing Team.

“Therefore I would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone to make sure that their sheds, outbuildings or any other storage units are securely locked at all times.
“If anyone has information regarding this incident then please call 101 quoting ‘incident number 127 of September 17,” he added.

PCSO Miller added that anyone who sees anything else suspicious should report it via the 101 non-emergency number.
