Police are warning of a rise in burglaries around a parts of Boston after another home was targeted on Friday.
The burglary took place in Willoughby Road between 1am-8am on Friday, April 11,
Lincolnshire Police said the offender gained entry to the property via the front bay window. They then made an untidy search before stealing an amount of cash and exiting through a rear door.
Community Inspector Jim Manning said: “In the last two weeks, Boston has experienced a rise in dwelling burglaries in the north of the town, around the Tattershall Road and Willoughby road area of the town.
“We are asking people to be vigilant, ensure their home is secured and to report any suspicious activity straightaway. Extra patrols are being carried out in the area.”
