Police are trying to trace the owners of property stolen in a series of thefts from motor vehicle in the Boston area.

The crimes took place in the Kirton, Sutterton, Frampton and London Road area of Boston overnight between Thursday (October 22) and the early hours of Friday morning.

The vehicles targeted were all unlocked and access was gained without causing any damage. Some people may be unaware that their vehicles have been entered as the doors were often closed again.

Arrests have been made and a significant amount of property recovered, some of which has not yet been accounted for.

Officers are asking for anyone who discovers that their vehicle has been entered to call the police on 101 and quote 15000110616 or ask to speak to PC Adam Brown at Boston police station.

Police need to return some of the more valuable items and are asking owners of minor items stolen to contact them as they could prove significant to the investigation.
