‘Serious offender’ on the run from North Sea Camp

Police are on the hunt today for a man serving a life sentence for ‘serious offences’ who has absconded from North Sea Camp prison.

David Razzaque, 46, was last seen at the Freiston Shore open prison at about 4.45pm on Monday.

Razzaque, is serving a life sentence for serious offences, however, the Ministry of Justice have refused to reveal what those are. A spokesman told The Standard that they do not carry a database of who has what cases where.

He is originally from the Derby area.

Razzaque is of mixed white and Asian race, has a shaven head with a distinctive ponytail on the top of his head, and a beard. He has a tattoo of a dragon on his upper right arm.

If seen, the public are advised not to approach Razzaque, but to contact police straight away.
