A MAN who hid a pair of headphones in his jacket before walking out of Asda without paying has been handed a conditional discharge by Boston magistrates.
Igors Bogdanovs, of Norfolk Street, Boston, was spied by staff at the store putting the £20 piece of equipment in his coat after he had collected shopping from the rest of the store, the court was told.
They were recovered when he was stopped outside the store.
Bogdanovs, 25, who was unrepresented by a solicitor, admitted theft from a shop on August 30. He told magistrates: “I feel sorry for what happened.”
On Wednesday he was sentenced to a conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 court costs.
