Police have issued a warning after a woman in her 70s fell victim to a new jewellery theft scam.

The woman was walking through Boston Market Place when the female thief approached her.

She placed a necklace around the victim’s neck, telling her ‘it would look nice’. The victim asked for her to remove it.
