A 17-year-old man has been arrested following a drugs warrant linked to an ongoing investigation into two recent deaths in Boston.

A police spokesman said the Misuse of Drugs Act warrant was executed at a house in Brady Street, Boston.

The teenager was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and a small quantity of drugs were recovered.

He was bailed until May 24, for further enquiries.

A police spokesman confirmed the warrant was issued as part of the ongoing investigation into two recent deaths.

Officers recently confirmed that they had established that the 42 year-old man found in Union Street on March 29, and the 22 year-old man found on Fenside Road on March 26 had both been involved in the use of heroin and one line of enquiry was that they suffered an adverse reaction to a particular batch.
