A Coningsby teenager has denied causing the death of his friend by driving without due care and attention.
Scott Kingswood, 19, of Milson Close, entered a not guilty plea to the charge when he appeared at Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
He is accused of causing the death of 19-year-old Robbie Nicholls on February 14 at Freiston by driving a Ford Focus in Butterwick Road without due care and attention.
Paul Wood, prosecuting, said Mr Nicholls was a friend of the defendant and had been riding a moped ahead of a collision involving both parties.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case and sent the matter to Lincoln Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on October 29.
Kingswood was granted unconditional bail.
