Teenager dies in Brothertoft collision

A 19-year-old man has died after two cars collided yesterday (Sunday).

A police spokesman said services were called to Main Road, Brothertoft near Boston about 10.30am where a black VW Lupo and a blue Renault Clio were in collision.

The teenager from the Woodhall Spa area, the driver of the VW, was taken by air ambulance to Pilgrim Hosptal, Boston where a short time later he died.

A couple in the Clio, believed to be from the Coningsby area, are being treated in Lincoln County Hospital for serious injuries.

The road was re-opened at about 4pm.

Anyone who was in the area and saw the black VW and the blue Renault either before the collision or saw the actual collision is asked to contact police on 101 with the incident number 174 of August 10 or call the witness hotline on 01522 558855.
