Two officers based at Boston police station have been dismissed from the force.
Lincolnshire Police has confirmed that two of the town’s officers were found guilty of allegations of ‘discreditable conduct’ and ‘issues surrounding honesty and integrity’.
They were dismissed by the force without notice after a disciplinary panel hearing on Friday, August 23.
Detective Chief Inspector Nigel Storey, of the Professional Standards Department, said: “This was an internal disciplinary hearing, the force will not be identifying the officers concerned or enlarging upon the circumstances surrounding the allegations.
“Hopefully the outcome of the hearing will reassure members of the public that Lincolnshire Police will not accept behaviour from our officers or employees that falls below the high standards of integrity and conduct that we expect and the public deserve.”
