Police are appealing for information over the theft of two tons of metal from a Friskney company.

The reported incident, only recently released to the press, took place between Friday, December 21 and 28 at MK Exhausts – previously known as Staxs Engineering – in Fold Hill.

During this period the metal was stolen from inside the compound.

Lincolnshire Police said it is believed a large vehicle, around the size of a Sprinter van or drop side lorry, was used to take the metal away.

Anyone with information about this should call police by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 85 of December 28.
