A man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Boston and will appear in court this morning, Thursday May 26.
Gytis Griskevicius, 32, of St Anns Lane in Boston, has been charged with the murder of Marina Erte.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Lincoln Magistrate’s Court today.
DI Jim Hodgson, of EMSOU Major Crime and who is leading the enquiry, has repeated his appeal for witnesses and information.
He said: “Our investigation is still continuing and I’m keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area of Elizabeth Road, where the victim was found in a property on Friday May 20, between the hours of 6pm on Thursday May 19 and 3pm on Friday May 20.
“Also, if you have any information you think might be relevant to the investigation please contact us on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 228 of 20/05/2016. Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
