Witness appeal after man left unconscious by attack in Boston

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault that took place in Boston on Sunday night.

Officers say a man was attacked by a group of people shortly before midnight in Emery Lane.

The victim lay unconscious for several minutes until someone came to his aid. He is now suffering from serious head injuries.

The details surrounding the attack are sketchy and the attackers cannot be identified by CCTV.
