Witnesses sought to fatal collision on the A607

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision on the A607 between Sleaford and Grantham on Easter Sunday.

Emergency services were called to a collision near the Belton Garden Centre around midday.

The collision involved a motorcycle and a silver Toyota Corolla.

“The motorcycle rider, a man in his 50s from the Derbyshire area, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene,” said a Lincolnshire Police spokesman.

A section of the A607 was closed in both directions for several hours during the incident while emergency services were in attendance.

“If you have witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage available, we’d like to hear from you,” said the statement.
