Woman set to appear at Lincoln Crown Court following alleged ‘stabbing’

A woman charged with grievous bodily harm after a man was found with stab wounds on Saturday afternoon, has appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.

Laura Barzdaite, 30, of West Row, Boston, appeared in custody yesterday (Monday) when the case was adjourned until July 6 at Lincoln Crown Court.

She was granted bail on the condition that she continued to live at her address and did not contact the victim, who has been named as Gintaras Saulavicius.

Barzdaite was arrested at about 12.40pm on Saturday after Mr Saulavicius was found with stab wounds in West Street, Boston.

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed the victim remains in a stable condition.
