This shoehorn was recently donated to the Rase Heritage Society.

The shoehorn is from Darby’s shoe repair service (H Shaw), which was, at that time, at 50 Queen Street.

There are references to the name Shaw as a boot and shoe maker going back to 1896. If you know any more, contact us here at the Mail.
