Boston Grammar School is celebrating its recovery from the December 5 flood with a beach party-themed fete.
The event takes place from noon until 4pm and each tutor group has organised its own fundraising activity with money to go to Centrepoint Outreach, First World War Memorial and for defibrillators.
It’s a ticket-only event for non-students and they can be purchased from the school office at the main entrance in Rowley Road.
Event co-ordinator Richard Anderson said: “There will be something for everyone, ranging from an art and design and technology exhibition in the main hall to a Punch and Judy show on the field plus lots of games and demonstrations by local services all in the name of charity.”
The school was recently able to formally re-open its historic library after flood damage.
