Free school still waiting to move to new home

Boston Pioneers Free School Academy has faced further delays in moving into its new home as it waits for the contractors to give it the go ahead.

Head teacher Jo Bland said the pupils were settled and happy at the school’s current Tunnard Street base in the meantime.

She said the school didn’t have an estimated moving date at the moment and didn’t want to give one because they didn’t want to disappoint the children.

However, she said that when they did move in she would be ‘delighted’.

They had originally hoped to pick up the keys last weekend and move into the new site last week.
