CHILDREN at Kirton Kids’ Club have been preparing for spring by learning to grow their own food.
The club, based in High Street, has been taking part in the Grow2Eat initiative, supported by Boston Borough Council.
The children have set fruit trees, plants, vegetables, propagated herbs and made planters.
They are keeping a diary of everything they are growing which will eventually be made into a book, documenting each stage.
The activity will run throughout the year at the club, which is open out of school hours, holidays and during the second week of Easter.
