Active youngsters at a village primary school near Boston have raised more than £800 for the NSPCC through sponsored workout sessions.
The ‘Activity Challenge’ saw pupils at Bicker Preparatory School take part in at least 30 minutes of physical exercise every day for a week.
Headteacher Julie Miles said: “Children were sponsored to complete the challenge and managed to raise an amazing total of £847.
“The children were very keen to help make a difference to the lives of other children and we are very proud of their efforts.”
In addition to the fundraiser, children welcomed Jean Douglas came to the school to talk about the work and history of the NSPCC.
