PARENTS are being urged to get their children’s primary school applications in before the final deadline on Friday.
Lincolnshire County Council said it is still waiting for 1,500 applications and asking parents to quickly pick up forms from any primary school and get their applications in before the January 14 deadline.
Peter Duxbury, director of Children’s Services, said: “Parents who apply late can be at a disadvantage and may not be offered the school they want.”
The applications are for children born between September 1, 2006, and August 31, 2007.
