Jessica Ennis, Lionel Messi, Roger Federer and Zara Phillips were among the famous faces helping raise cash for Bicker Prep School.
But the sporting superstars did not appear in person, instead they were among the top names portrayed by pupils who dressed up as their idols to raise money for new upper school laptops.
Activities completed by the children included foundation pupils completing sponsored laps of the school, upper school students holding a disco in the back garden and children in all years completing an obstacle course.
The disco used a new portable PA system paid for by donations.
Wendy Bell, head of upper school, said: “I am so proud of all the children. They understand the need to perservere when undertaking a sponsored event and can be proud of their achievements.”
The school aimed to raise £800.
