Engine fault sparks tractor blaze near Sleaford

Firefighters were called to tractor on fire at Newton, near Sleaford on Friday afternoon.

According to Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service the tractor was in a field at the time, off the A52.

Crews from Grantham and Sleaford arrived around 4.21pm and used a main hose jet and foam to extinguish the burning tractor.

Investigations concluded the fire started from an engine malfunction within the tractor.
