Deep potholes in Skegness street are fixed ahead of shops reopening

Deep potholes along a main retail street are being filled ahead of shops re-opening next week.

The two potholes in Lumley Road were cordoned off over Easter, causing hold-ups for traffic heading to the seafront.

However, Lincolnshire County Council's contractors have been out filling the potholes today as part of the ongoing battle to fix the county's roads.

Non-essential shops re-open on Monday as more Covid-19 restrictions are eased. The day will also see caravan parks, self-catering accommodation, amusement parks and pubs with outside catering re-opening.
