EU Referendum sees more than 30,400 people vote in Boston


The turnout has been announced for Boston in the EU Referendum - 77.27 per cent.

A total of 30,417 voters out of 39,363 eligible voters in the borough of Boston turned up to polling stations today.

This compares to a total of 43,481 voters across the whole of Boston and Skegness at last year’s General Election - a turnout of 64.83 per cent an election which saw MP Matt Warman win with 18,981.

The official count of the votes has now begun.
