‘Extremely dangerous’ laser attack on aircraft flying over Lincolnshire

An ‘extremely dangerous’ laser attack was carried out on a low-flying aircraft in Sleaford at midnight yesterday (Sunday).

Police are appealing for information about the incident, which took place as the vehicle was flying over Sleaford.

PCSO Amy Michie from Sleaford Town’s station sent out a Lincs Alert which said: “A green laser light was used. This is an offence under the Air Navigation Order and extremely dangerous.”

Any information should be passed to police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number two of April 13, 2015.
