Families enjoy snowdrops
An annual snowdrop event was held at St Nicholas' Church, in Skirbeck, over last weekend.
Father Paul Noble said: “It went very well, there were lots of visitors to the church, churchyard and the hall.”
The event included an exhibition of vestments, a ceremonial robe worn during services, from St Nicholas’ Church and other churches in the county.
Father Noble said: “People admired the embroidery.”
This event marks the fact that winter is ending, and spring is coming with hundreds of snowdrops in the churchyard.
Proceeds from the event will go to church funds.
