Fire at derelict property near New York

Fire crews were called to a derelict building on fire in New York in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

At 3.59am, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue crews from Horncastle, Boston and Billinghay attended Sandy Bank to after reports of a derelict property on fire.

The fire, in the small building measuring approximately 10 x 12 metres, was extinguished using two hose reels.

Lincs Fire & Rescue's Twitter post confirmed that there were no casualties reported.
