It’s plain sailing for Boston Sea Cadets after a funding boost of £6,980 from the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The money comes from Postcode Community Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Fifty five pence from every £2 ticket goes to support good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

The funding will enable Boston Sea Cadets to offer fun, recreational boating while helping the young people of the area gain worthwhile qualifications with national governing bodies such as the British Canoe Union.

Commanding Officer PO (SCC) Justin Coulson said: “As a charity it’s important that we receive support to allow us to continue our good work with young people. We really would like to thank the players of the Postcode Lottery and the Postcode Community Trust.”
