GALLERY: Knights show how Easter is done - medieval style

Clad in heavy armour and shouting cheeky banter to each other before sword-fighting - the Knights of Skirbeck certainly put on a show at the Guildhall.

The re-enactment group visited the Boston museum to host a special event looking at how Easter was celebrated in medieval times.

Visitors were able to browse stalls with genuine medieval artefacts, try on armour, handle weaponry and various implements and see how folk lived in that era.

There was also ‘mystery objects’ to identify, games and crafts, stocks, and the doctors’ table complete with surgeons’ tools.
