GCSE RESULTS: Hundreds of Boston College students celebrate after gaining much needed grades
This result will enable them to make the next step towards their dream careers.
One of those pupils was Joanna Williams, who achieved an A in Maths and C in English.

Hide AdShe said “I already have a degree in Chemistry which I achieved from my studies in Poland, but I needed my GCSEs to progress on to a degree here in England.
“I chose to study the higher tier papers and I’m really happy with my results, especially as English isn’t my first language. I’m hoping to become a Teacher.”
Fellow pupil Nicola Thompson was ‘thrilled’ with her results.
She said, “I’ve always had a love for animals and I wanted a career change.

Hide Ad“By achieving a B grade in Biology, I can now apply for Veterinary Nurse training.
“I really enjoyed studying towards GCSE at College. The lecturers are brilliant and very supportive and they made me believe I could do it!”
Boston College will be open until 4pm this afternoon to offer advice and information to those who have recieved their results and suppor them making their next steps.
There is also an open evening next Thursday, 2-8pm, for anyone wanting a place for next years’ cohort of GCSE students.
