Get on your bike for annual hospice fundraiser

Dozens have already signed up to take part in the Butterfly Hospice Trust’s fundraising Big Bike Ride on May 17 - and there’s still time to join
them.

The hospice, based in Rowna Way, Boston, provides care for people with life-limiting illnesses.

There are routes to suit cyclists from novices to would-be Chris Hoys.

They are as follows: Boston to Lincoln to Boston: 66 miles/106km, 9.30am start; Boston to Tattershall to Boston: 28 miles/45km, 10am start; Boston to Langrick to Boston, 9 miles/15km, 10.30am start.

All routes follow the River Witham along the Water Rail Way marked cycle path - with each also starting and finishing at Boston Town Football Club, Tattershall Road.

A family fun day will also be taking place from 9am-4pm on the day at the start point.

It will include traditional stalls such as hook-a-duck.
