A SALON offering fish pedicures was among the planning applications to be approved by councillors in a meeting last week.
The Market Place salon, which is at the corner of Cornhill Lane between Greggs and Savers, was subject to a change of use application, as it is a former retail unit. It was approved at a meeting of the Boston Borough Council planning board on Tuesday.
At the meeting, councillors also discussed an application for a facility to deal with end-of-life tyres at a haulage yard in Sutterton. They decided to oppose the application.
Another matter which was discussed at the meeting involved a 22-turbine wind farm at Heckington Fen, near to the Boston Borough Council boundary.
The council decided it was not minded to support the application, which must be decided by the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change.
