Guardian Rose for Worksop Paralympic silver medalist and fundraiser Zoe
Zoe Edge, who has cerebral palsy, was presented with the award at a surprise ceremony at her Worksop home this week.
The 41-year-old was nominated by her carer, Joanne Collins, who shares a strong bond with Zoe after caring for her for four years.

“She is a huge Chesterfield FC fan and recently raised £3,500 for their Trust Fund, as well as £3,500 for Fountaindale School in Mansfield which she previously attended.
“Zoe is currently raising money for Ernie Moss, a former Chesterfield FC player who suffers from dementia.”
Joanne said she also continues to be “amazed” by the fact that Zoe is a Paralympic champion- taking home the silver medal for Boccia in the 1996 games.

“She’s sharp as anything and has a fabulous sense of humour.
“She certainly keeps me on my feet and I love my time with her. My job is very rewarding.
“The presentation went brilliantly- Zoe didn’t have a clue.
“It was so nice to let her know how much she is admired.”
