This week’s recipe comes from Paul Topliss, head chef at The Mill
l 8oz dark chocolate
l 1 block of butter
l 5 eggs
l 12oz soft brown sugar
l 4.5oz plain flour
l 1 tsp baking powder
l Melt together chocolate and butter.
l Whisk eggs and brown sugar together.
l Add the melted chocolate to the egg mix.
l Slowly sift and fold in flour.
l Pour into a lined baking tray and place in the centre of a pre-heated oven at 180C for around one hour or until a cake skewer comes out clean.
