STAFF at Boston Treatment Centre believe they work hard to do the best by their patients – and now they have the piece of paper to prove that is the case.
The Ramsay Health Care-run site, at Boston West Business Park, was given full marks in a recent report by the Care Quality Commission, after inspectors found that the centre met all essential standards of quality of care.
The health watchdog’s officers were particularly impressed with the level of dignity and respect afforded to patients and the level of care they received, when they visited on January 26.
Nurse Michelle Richardson said staff at the centre were very happy with the results of the compliance report.
She added: “As a team we’re really proud. We’re proud that all our hard work has been recognised in the report. It makes the job worthwhile.
“There has been so much negative press about the heath service recently, it’s nice for local people to know they can trust our service.”
During the inspection, patients at the centre commented that staff were well-trained, knowledgeable and very helpful and caring.
One told inspectors: “Staff know exactly what they are doing. That’s why I come here.”
Michelle said the certificate of compliance would be displayed in reception for all to see.
The Boston Treatment Centre has been running for about seven years and employs around 30 staff.
