Martial arts experts from Boston will be showing off their skills at a forthcoming Health and Fitness Show.
Members of Kuk Sool Won, based at Marsh Lane, will be at the Springfield’s Events and Conference Centre in Spalding on Sunday to give visitors an insight into their sport. They will be giving a demonstration, alongside other fitness and sports professionals at the lively show, which will also feature Zumba, aerobics and other fitness classes, along with expert advice on healthy living and nutrition.
Visitors to the show will be able to speak to health, fitness and well-being experts and discover more about what is available to them, as well as enjoy pamper sessions.
Co-owner of show organisers Give It Some Fizz, Zoe Myall said: “We want to bring together health, fitness and well-being providers in the area to show just what is on offer in Lincolnshire and close at home – and that there really is something for everybody no matter your age, gender or background.”
Among those exhibiting are local gyms, nutrition specialists, holistic and sports therapists, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (which provides specialist health services for people with a learning difficulty, mental health, drug or alcohol problem) and community groups.
The Health and Fitness show will run from 10am-4pm on May 22, at the Springfield’s Events and Conference Centre on the A16.
Entry is £2 or free for under 16s. Free parking is available at the conference centre.
