Lights of Life were celebrated at a ceremony organised by staff at Boston’s Butterfly Hospice on Friday night.
The nursing team invited familes, friends and patients of the hospice to Westwood Lakes for a collection of music, readings and time to honour the memories of loved ones who had passed away.
Guests dedicated a light to remember someone special, while Swineshead Silver Band provided music.
The Butterly Hospice inpatient unit is run in partnership with Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and the Butterfly Hospice Trust.
Palliative Care coordinator for LCHS at the Butterfly Hospice, Jan Wright, said: “This event was a fantastic opportunity for us to remember loved ones and reaffirm our commitment to providing first class palliative care.
“It was wonderful to see so many of the family and friends again who have helped to make the Butterfly Hospice such a special place.”
