BOSTON is set for mass exposure after an international TV company attended a meeting of Boston Borough Council last week.
A producer and camera man from the Al Jazeera television channel went to a meeting of the authority’s task and finish group looking into the social impact of population change in the area, which took place last Wednesday.
The duo had travelled from the company’s London office to sit in on the meeting as part of a programme they were preparing about employment.
They spoke to important people involved in the migration debate, including committee chairman Coun Paul Kenny.
At the meeting, representatives from trade unions and other bodies related employment in the borough faced questions from councillors and members of the public about how the large amount of migrants who have moved to the town in recent years have affected employment in the town.
